ABOUT THE WORK
My work begins with the question of how we perceive the world and how we assign meaning to what we see. I explore the instability of perception and the subtle states that emerge between self and others, memory, time, and distance.
Rather than simply depicting landscapes, bodies, or objects as they exist, I use shifts in composition, transformation, absence, and repetition to visualize conditions and concepts that are difficult to capture through language alone.
I work with generative AI, image editing, moving image, and other visual techniques, selecting each medium according to the concept of the individual work rather than treating any particular technique as an end in itself.
